    I have been in the aquarium hobby for many years and recently decided to restart my 45 gallon tall (24” tall) after a 10 year sabbatical. When I first started in the hobby I had a couple of tanks, through my teen years that number grew to eight aquariums totaling about 160 gallons. I did
    some breeding of angels, killies, and fancy guppies. I worked in tropical fish shops, pet shops, and a tropical fish distributor during those teen years. My plant growing consisted of mainly water sprite and hornwort.

    After college I sold the tanks before the moving to Seattle. I purchased the 45 gallo
