Trim low on the stem plants. :) Then let it grow, then trim again, to make it bushy.

In my opinion, beginners often choose smaller tanks rather than big or medium tanks because they think it is much easier.
Same question with mr_ED, what are other ways of identifying the plants from one another?

smaller doesn't always mean better. the smaller the tank, less elbow room for mistakes. its difficult to maintain water parameters on smaller...
