I like your helper very much.
It looks like you have been doing some research if not you have a good eye for Aquascaping. You have two very good rocks and one that should work in well with the other two
Before we start I would like to go back several steps and make a Mock tank. This is a rather elaborate one, they can be made from a few cardboard boxes as long as its the same size as your tank. You can use sand or, garden soil.
The main reason being its a lot easier working from the front and naturally it's safer than working in a glass tank. The other very obvious there are no reflections or background distractions.
