How would you recommend dosing trace/iron (CSM+B) for plants that rely heavily on trace and iron for their color/beauty. Currently I am dosing 2 grams CSM+B MWF in a heavily planted 40 gallon breeder. After a heavy trim, my macrandras started to really take off with some brilliant color. Now that the plants are growing back, the macrandras are beginning to show signs that it's not geting enough nutrients.
Should I increase the dosage or increase the number of days that I dose CSM+B? |

That is strange that the plant will bring out color after a trim but loses it as it continues to grow. Is the macrandra the plant being trimmed or is it other plants being trimmed? What is your lighting like?
If you could, try dosing a little bit more to see if that helps, if not maybe you will need more light. |
