I think customs would have trouble with soil.

Have you tried going online to Seachem's forum and asking about a distributor who carries the sand in Mexico, or checked to see if one will special-order it for you?

I don't understand as why would customs have problems, I have a friend that is currently using it, don't really know how he got it, but I think passing it trough customs was no different than any other substrate.
thanks anyway

Actually I have, Mexico only has one mayor distributor and he then distributes all the seachem products all over the country (actually Mexico City and a few mayor department stores) so going to a "distributor" here in mexico is nearly useless, if you try to special order something it can take up to 6 months to get here and that is if they actually ordered your stuff, that is why I want to try to order it over in the US, I have family in LA and San Antonio but I want to see first if I can get it directly delivered to my house before bothering my family, otherwise I will have to buy it, have it delivered to my family and then pay UPS or FedEX to send it over to Mexico.

thanks for the help to all!

You could order from www.aquaessentials.co.uk but the shipping is probably very expensive...

If you decide to have your family ship it, BigAlsOnline is the cheapest I found Fluorite online in the USA http://www.bigalsonline.com/BigAlsUS...ouriteblack7kg

Welcome to the ASW forum pal ! Glad to see you around here. You seem a little bit anxious , LOL (J/K) Looks like we'll have to wait until Seachem's dealer brings the FBS to Mexico City. Some time ago I asked in APC and they told me Serafin (Seachem's dealer here) had bought some, let's see whay happens.

Regards,
