Default Rare Rocks?

Can't find a suitable section to post this...

How common are these rocks? Found in Japan, labeled as "USA".

I personally find them quite nicely priced.

I have seen the Zebra rock offered locally (Phoenix, AZ) for about $2.99 a lb.
I really do like the look and might put it in a future scape.
The other one looks like it was offered, but I didn't pay as much attention to it because I didn't think it would go as well with green plants, but could be wrong. It was about $1 per lb more then the Zebra rock, I think it is popular in Fish only aquariums.

That I don't know, their origin is not listed so it will take some more investigation.

The zebra rock looks like granite, a very common rock in my country. If it's granite I think it will raize a lot the PH and GH.

The price?

Pieces like that they will pay you to get rid of it

I see the white rock on the right all the time at the major pet stores in the US. I don't know where it's collected or manufactured but the product is available here in the states. The Zebra rock, I've never seen and wonder how it looks underwater and with plants. Looks kinda wild to me.

Oh I didn't know that Zebra rock is so common... it's not expensive, that pack costs US$7.50, bought from Tokyo.

I'm curious too... but the strong contrast of the Zebra rock makes it harder to blend in... in other words probably less natural... I think in order for this type of rock to work in a NA, we will have to choose our fauna and flora with care. Oh I wish I can start another tank just to put these rock to the test
