CRS breeders are saying this product is the next best thing since sliced bread. Apparently the shrimp love this brand of food over the other CRS products. I just bought some new Shirakura pellets which are made with a new formula, but they don't seem to be attract to these pellets.
Anyone use the Mosura brand of CRS food that can comment on this product? -John N.

I use various shrimp food like Shirakura, Loose, ebi-ten, Mosura, Advance Gold, efish...
Mosura has a special formula to grow and breed the shrimps, but not too much protein. It is a very good shrimp food and is much better taken than others from the shrimps. Perhaps i can send you something if you want to try ? René |

I use something called Biomax from Genchem Biotechnology co.
There are 3 types. Biomax is the normal food in 3 different sizes. Then theres White Pellets, calcium and mineral supplements with enzymes. Then there is Biozyme, with protease and alpha-amylase (Enzymes that breaks down protein and amylose(Carbohydrate)). Its mainly featured for CRS

When I first introduced the Mosura brand, my CRS were a little hesitant to try it. In fact, large pieces were left untouched for the first few weeks. Later on, they developed a taste for it, and now jump on it every time they're dropped in. Between the Shirakura products and Mosura pellets, I can't see a noticable difference in CRS development. The pellets do smell different and are obviously composed of something a little extra in both. But overall, the CRS love eating both and colors looks the same, no enhancements. -John N.

I am not sure if Mosura is the better food, but I can say if the only one that my Sulawesi shrimp go quickly to eat. Rest I tested with them stay in the tank for days without response from the shrimp, and finally is eaten by snails...
