Wink Blue shrimp

I'm thinking of getting some light blue shrimp for my community tank. Are they difficult to take care of. I'm a novice but i'm learning fast. Thanks!

Blue Pearl Shrimp (one of only 2 true breeding blue dwarf shrimp) are fairly easy to care for. They have VERY similar care requirements to the Cherry Shrimp....

All and all, a simple shirmp!

What is the 2nd species of true blue shrimp, and what about the other blue shrimps, are they artificially made to be blue?
I know the blue berry shrimp, the babaulti blue and the tiger blue.

Hi,

take care if you buy blue ones on the market , some are colored by special food and will get no blue offspring.

Blue Tiger shrimps (Caridina cf. cantonensis) are sometimes a bit sensitive and more expensive than Blue Pearl (Neocaridina cf. zhangijajiensis), which are more simple in care.

Greetings, Pia
