I have a good collection of aquatic ferns, but never seen that needle leaved Microsorum... maybe do you mean the mini-narrow one?

I heard it was a thinnner variant of the M. p. sp. Narrowleaf.

The Needle leaf is ~ 1cm wide leaf, but still long.

Aquaticmagic used to sell this plant as "needle leaf Java fern", but, he does not seem to have it listed for sale any longer, its not listed right now anyhow. Maybe this is just a temporary situation? I do have this plant but unfortunately not in any great quantity to offer you some, I have it in a low light tank so its growing slowly for me. I found it did not travel well as a small plant, the leaves are delicate and prone to damage than any other fern that I have, especially as small plantlets. Mine has taken a long time to recover and grow to any size. Aquaticmagic is probably your best bet though if another hobbyist cannot help you, I would keep an eye on ebay. The plant may travel better if its fully grown IMO. Good luck with your search.

I thought it would have been common in Europe. It was rare in Australia about 2 years ago but is readily available through members on Australian forums and occassionally appears in lfs.

This was one of my favorite plants and I found a small rhizome attached with some Anubias on a rock which I bought. Over the last few years I have produced many plants and sold and gave lots away.

Not sure what your quarratine laws are like or even if it would survive the long journey, but if you have no luck finding any closer to home, more than happy to send you a few pieces.

I grow a specially shorter variant of Microsorum, I got it long time ago as Narrow leaf one, but seems being different.
