Default Aloha From Hawaii

Greetings from the Pacific! I was surfing the web to get some info on basic aquarium care and had to pick up my jaw off the floor when I saw some of the pictures here. The art is amazing. Hopefully my first attempt at aquascaping will be 1/100th as good.

Fishman-

I've lived here for about 3 and a half years now and I've loved every day.

I adopted a tank by word of mouth. It's free to good home, and has a filter. He also neglected to tell me it had about 8 Fish and was in a serious case of neglect. Now I'm in a mess with Angels, Guppies, and :: shudder :: blue gravel. I'll post some pics after I get it cleaned up a little.

I went in to my local store and asked about a few things and the employee looked at me like I was speaking Latin or something. Looks like I'll be ordering a lot off the internet

Welcome Raslad,

I think it's amazing what members can create with a few aquatic plants and a glass box of water. You hit it on the nail when you call it "art".

There are some members here with less then a year under their belt who are able to design amazing layouts. Who knows, you might be in the same group!
