Talking Greetings from Everett Washington

Wonderful site, as a long time fish keeper and breeder I have scaled things back and I'm down to just 2 tanks. This is the first time I have ever had a fully planted tank. Have made some mistakes, an I will be rearrangeing things next week. 75 gal is my show tank at this time and it is to crowed with swords. 7 very large lush plants. In the few months it has been up it has surpassed expectations. After keeping fish for over 40 years you thing you know it all...WELL that could not be farther from the truth...it's a all new learning experance, and you have to really rethink a your tank.....I'll keep you posted, and Thanks for all the great info that I've been able to get from this site...........

Great to have you aboard... Welcome to ASW

We all make mistakes, the important thing is to learn from them. This hobby is always changing so the learning never stops.

Welcome to ASW,

I couldn't agree more with Trena. The hobby is constantly evolving and I hope it always stays that way. There is always something new to learn even for self proclaimed old timers like yourself.

Planted aquariums in general haven't really sparked and blown up in interest like reef aquariums, but the hobby is definitely getting there. Please enjoy the site!
