Hi From Maine!

Hi all my name is mike and Im from the cold state of maine! I was just bit by the plant bug and I started planting a 10 gallon tank. Right now Im using 2 23w CFL bulbs with a color temp of 6500k each, CO2 and Im waiting on my first bottle of Flourish. Here is what I have for plants

ANUBIAS BARTERI VAR. BARTERI
Java Moss
Hornwort (Ceratophyllum demersum)
HYGROPHILA CORYMBOSA 'SIAMENSIS’
Gymnocoronis spilanthoides
Red Tiger Lotus (Nymphaea zenkeri)
Pennywort
Cryptocoryne wendtii

I do plan on moving some of the plants to my 72 gallon discus tank when I get a CO2 system for the tank. I look foward to learning alot from this site.

Hi Mike and welcome to ASW!! Sounds and looks like you do have the "bug". You came to the right spot. I would love to see your ten gallon.

Mike, there's no cure to the poison of the plant bug.

Thanks guys. From what I have read on the forum so far you have alot of people who are very experienced and are willing to help. I thought I found the cure to the bug by buying more fish but it didnt work. Now I have 5 tanks that need to be planted insted of 2.
