Default Hello From Long Beach, CA

Hey everybody. I just found this site thanks to a link on SCAPE.

I am 17 and a Senior in High School. I have been doing the planted tank thing for a few years now. I have three tanks going right now and I haven't been giving them the care they need.

I am hoping to improve my scaping abilities. I just need to find some more free time to devote to maintenance.

Hello, Nice to see familiar names stopping by. I know what you mean about "spare time".

Wow, I didn't know you were that young. Your posts have always been extremely well thought out. I guess that has a lot to say about aquascapers in general. We are top of the class.

Have you been to the Long Beach Aquarium (Aquarium of the Pacific) lately? They have something new starting call Shark Lagoon Night, where it's open to the public for free. I've been meaning to visit that Aquarium when I'm down in the area.

Come on "slickwillislim" didn't give away my age.

I actually haven't been to the aquarium recently. I have been there a bunch of times though, I have a few friends who volunteer and work there. They mentioned something about a shark lagoon in my Marine Bio class, I was considering stopping by. I can try out my XTi on the big tanks.
