hi im new here and new to aquascaping just started my tank about 8 weeks ago and have cought the bug although it is slow going as im learning as i go and funds are limited.
so far i have put in the substrate caribsea eco complete hope this is ok i have built it up from about 2" deep at the front to 3" at the back and slightly higher in the back corners.
i have 2 pieces of bogwood although there not very interesting rather uniform just long and flat so i tied some java moss to 1 and some riccia to the other but now im confused about other plants to buy.
i have added some bulbs that i bought from ebay and 1 crypto but all the other plants i got have just died for some reason i cant get bunched plants to root especially cabomba.
so the main thing i need help with on here is background plants easy to grow ones if thats possible.
also i dont have co2 as my water is very soft pH 6.0
all advise i can get will be greatly appreciated
