Default Hello from GA USA

Hello!! I got started with the aquarium hobby by buying a 10 gallon aquarium set and fish at Wall-mart. Big mistake!! The fish lived but found it, cichlid, would get too big for the tank. I took him to LFS. Now I have a 29 gallon tank and have got bitten by the plant bug. I have made many mistakes but alas all of my plants are growing and algae is at a miniumum.

Welcome to ASW! 29 Gallon is a nice size tank, but you may find yourself looking for a little bit more depth eventually. Congrats on the success!

Well I don't have the room or the cash for a bigger tank so I am sticking with the 29 gallon tank. I had expected this hobby to only cost me $100. After reaching $300 I stopped counting. No I just budget myself monthly on what I can spend on it.

LOL, ah yes the money I've spent on this hobby is astronomical!
