I have been coming on here to read the articles and checking out the fantastic pictures while at work. Can I just say, what a great place to get a little taste of zen?

Haven't really gotten a tank yet, mostly because I get overly distracted, and excited; just want to get my hands on all kinds of tanks!

Though, I am going to start with something small. Looking at a >10 gallon glass tank. And slowly getting the equipment together.

For years I have been creating habitats and mini ecosystems in my neighborhood as part of the community initiatives, so I am comfortable with 'scaping. Though, It's a little intimidating to work with scaping in a new medium. What do you mean I have to avail CO2?!

So here I am, learning along the way and hopefully exchanging ideas with y'all. I apologize in advance for future questions on issues that I really should know by now.

DCMarathoner, you're in a great position to develop your planted aquarium the right way by reading all the material and threads before you dive into your tank. When I first started I was so excited I bought everything under the sun and unfortunately found out the hard way ($$$) that the marketing product descriptions aren't always true. So definitely read up, and learn from the excellent group of hobbyists here.
