hello from the Caribbean!

Hello all, i'm Fishlover .
I have always kept fish, since i was small, but only 3 years ago, i started aquascaping and of course, it wasn't long before i saw and fell in love with T. Amano's work, although there are many other aquascapers i admire.
Ever since that time, i have aquascaped, or at least tried. Only very few people in my country aquascape, but i know a lot of people who enjoy fishkeeping and i'm trying to make the art more popular.
I also keep ponds filled with swordtails, goldfish, cichlids, platties, guppies,barbs and on, no heating needed in the carribbean lol!
I really like this forum and i hope it will help me learn much about our hobby.

Hi Jur4ik & trenac. Thanks for the welcome. Trenac trust me you don't want to be in the carribbean right now lol, it's just been an hurricane after the other lately. I'm currently being affected by Hurricane Ike, actually.

You've come to a great place Fishlover. Glad to have you hear. I think you're one of the first from your area to join ASW. One of our goals here is to inspire new hobbyists, so hopefully you suceed in making the hobby more popular in the Carribean.

Anways, ask as many questions about aquascaping and planted tanks as you like. Many great people here to help.
