Default Back from Ukraine...

Just got back tonight..

Man, I'm wiped!

Good time had by all, but now I can finally get going on my tank!!!

Gotta see about ordering my plants within the next couple days, getting my aquascape done, ordering a CO2 diffuser..

So much to do!!!!!!!!!

Anyhoo, just thought I'd chime in, in case anyone was wondering where I'd gotten to.. *cricket chirping*

No, eh?

LOL

I was in Lviv and the surrounding area (Olesko, Zolochiv) mostly, but I also made a trip to the Carpathians (Yaremche, Voroxta), and passed through Ivano-Frankivsk, Chernivtsi, Kamyanets-Podilski, Xmelnitski, and Ternopil.

I would have liked to visit the Crimea, but it's very expensive there, now, and they are still dealing with the oil slick from that tanker that went down there this year..

I've been to Kiev as well, but very briefly..

Good to see you again Doug! I was missing that little fish avatar popping up.

Well, I'll ask the question...Did you visit any local aquarium stores?

LOL

I did, in fact..

Nice aquariums to be had, but the equipment was pretty dated, and the selection of fish limited.. Goldfish and rasboras, mostly..

Here's some pics that I put on Facebook:
