Default Share your Glosso Aquascapes

Most people have turned to Hemianthus callitrichoides (HC) as their primary foreground of choice because of its slow growth and less required maintenance. As a result I'm seeing less and less glosso based aquascapes. Does anyone have any Glossostigma elatinoides based aquascapes to share/showoff? They could be old or new aquascapes.

I'm looking to inspire people to use glosso more often because I think it maybe becoming an underused foreground, don't you think?

I have never had great luck with glosso. It is one of my favorite plants though... This was one of my attempts with glosso:

I find HC easier to care for so I can see why it would replace glosso as the common foreground plant. Thats my experience with both plants.

Default glosso scape

Glossa is my favourite plant, since it is so persistant and determent to grow everywhere, (it grows even on my mosses). In one word it is so alive, dinamic and natural.

Here three of my scapes in which I have used Glosso.

First one was active one year ago

Second was established in last August

And the third is active now

LOL, I think in addition to inspiring people with your glosso aquascapes, some actually maybe scared away from this plant. But I think a glosso foreground rivals one with e.tennelus or even HC. Theses are some really lovely scape. Keep them coming.

Nice topic!

Glosso has fallen out of favor as of late, hasn't it? Shame, as it is a pretty little plant!

Here is my aquarium with Glosso

This is very interesting. All the tanks are beautiful by the way. I am in the process of planting a tank with Glosso.

Here is my first scape ever whit glosso. I tryed to find the plant for a long time and finally i managed to locate a store that could order glosso. The scape was called "mojito" and was in progress the first months in 2004. It´s not the greatest scape but i still like the blending feeling in this photo.
