Hi,

I belive it's some kinda of african catfish, one of synodontis sp.
I think it is synodontis nigriventis.

Regards,

Joe Faria.

No, theres this wholesale freshwater warehouse by my gfs house. I went there today and saw these guys. they usually have a bunch of different kinds of corydoras. They dont really have a big selection, but they specialize in cichlids, koi and fancy goldfish. I havent been there in a long while, and today they had penguin tetras for $1.25 they looked really awesome. I would have picked them up but i dont want to mix the tetras even more. Im thinking about taking out the gold/platinum tetras.

I agree with Joe, they look like S. Nigriventris. Be careful, they are nocturnal and can grow big and be messy.

My two cents.

This fish is not Synodontis nigriventis. It is Synodontis schoutedeni. (max size 17 cm)
It isn't fish for your tank.
