ALL TIME FAVORITE: Blue Rams! Although I don't have any at the moment here were my favorites I bred these fish myself! The longfin was my favorite because I crossed a long whispy fin with a standard and got a long fin with uniform fins!

I also Love Chocolate Gouramis! By far my favorite of the Labyrinth fishes.

Apisto of all kinds especially some of the prettier hongsloi

Discus, I mean, come on... king of the Aquarium

Dario Dario = great fish!

Altum Angels

I also like the Laetacara Dorsigera and Curviceps

Ok I could go on and on but I will stop!

This question surprised me. I realised that I don’t have my favorite fish. Till now I’ve kept more than 300 fish species and bred around 100 species. All these fish are favorite for me.

Wow those chocolate gouramis look like saltwater butterflyfish..very nice. The rams are nice too, but I enjoy the small fish. I am keeping blue & red form axelrodi rasboras..they are awesome. I do not have a great pic of them. I would love to find some pseudomogil gertrudae...
I have always kept a betta or two, and my little dwarf puffer is a cutie. I also enjoy my small cories, scarlet badis, asian catfish{hara jerdoni}, and loaches are a big favorite. So many cool kinds...so few tanks..lol.

Can you tell me a little more about these? Do you keep them with shrimp? Will they eat shrimp that you know of?

yes, I keep them with shrimp and they will not eat them (they are smaller than most RCS). Here is where I got mine (scroll down the page):

Nano-Fish

The picture Frank has of two of them is also from one of my tanks. I feed mine bloodworms.

I like your taste, Dan! You must have the hook up to get female Dario. They're never available 'round here- males only. I've thought about keeping the paradoxfish (stickleback)- got any info/thread on that tank set up and husbandry?

IME Stickleback do best in a very low flow, established nano. They seem to feed almost solely on tiny little white bugs in my tank. Most any food is too big to fit in their mouths and they cannot really give chase - the other options would be overfeeding baby brine shrimp. They remind me a lot of the particularities of dwarf seahorses... I had 6 in a 3 gallon tank at one point and they are SO small it was not easy to find more than 1 or 2 of them at a time.

The female darios were a bit of luck - if you get a group of REALLY young ones you may well get a female or two - as they are just too hard to distinguish when they are small.
