Poll Section

Hello all,
As a newbie to aquascaping one of the most helpful resources to me on this site are the polls. It assists me in hopefully making the right descisions on my tanks. What is difficult for me is trying to find them from time to time. Is there any way we could have them in a collective area for viewing.

there is no way with the searching angine, it would be possible if every poll thread had a poll tag or something like that.. maybe the staff has some more possibilities

Hi Garhan,

I've asked the moderators to add tag words to the polls so that they are easily searchable for you, and anyone else interested in polls. Once we finish adding these tag words, you'll be able to search via the "tag search" method using the keywords, "poll" or "polls". The results will bring you a list of polls presented on ASW.

Just a note about polls. They are good sources of information from the comments, but you probably know not to rely on them as factual sources of information. By that I mean, the numbers don't always accurately illustrate what everyone is using as a substrate (for example) in the Aquascasping World, it's just a small sample.

Hi John,

Thank you very much. I truely appreciate this as it gives me a general thought process of other people's tanks around the world on initial setups. I realize the polls are not a accurate measure, but it helps out in thinking through approaches for newbies like myself, for equipment, tank sizes, filtration needs, lighting, substrate choices, and of course fert choices..
