currently in my 15 gallon tank i have being using a shop bought kit which consists of a co2 canister with a silicon tube to a diffuser which i have to maunally fill and thne leave over night, even though this method might work i have not really looked into the whole co2 setup situation.
what is a basic setup using off the shelf gear consist of? and also do you leave it running constantly? how do i check the co2 levels? pictures of peoples set ups would help if possible. ![]() thanks |

different people using different setup. For me, my setup consist of CO2 tank, CO2 regulator (step down the pressure from ~1000psi to ~25psi), solenoid (to outomatically turn ON/OFF) and CO2 reactor.
Normally you use drop checker to estimate the CO2 level in your tank.
