I had some on a piece of wood about the length of my forearm (maybe 1/4 the size of yours). It grew very bushy like that. My kuhlii loaches would play in it all the time. I think it took about a year to completely fill in.

Not quit as big, but big it was. Now i have split the beig fern in some smaler pieces.
I guess my javafern was about 1 year old. ![]() In the tank (450 liters) ![]() One year ago (on the top of the piece of wood)
