darn, I need some for my biotope, there is a guy in SA right now, he collected some, I asked if he could maybe ship me some when he gets back, and he sed yes!!!!

he sed he'll try, he doesn't know, but it was found growing beside a stream, partly emersed and partly submersed

i got a copy of amano's SUIKEI magazine and some of the pictures featuring the amazon wild has some mopss looking plant covers. not sure though what they are.

the actual amazon or a replica tank? The moss might be Christmas moss, many people think i tis SA, but others think SE Asia, so idk

Hi Fishman,

I live in Buenos Aires, and about 100 kms from here in a city named "Zarate" (Parana River) in our club we collected a moss. I dont know its name. Today or Tomorrow I will share a picture here to show it to you.

sweet, i have always wanted to go to South America, because the wildlife is amazing, the fish, the plants, the life thrives!!!

i collect a lot of moss of river and stream near to buenos aires, unfortanly i don't have here a pics of this, i think that one of most beatifull moss are in the roots of Casuarinas (Casuarina - Wikipedia, la enciclopedia libre) in Delta of River Paraná, probably they are fisidens sp. or fontinalis antipiretica.

Finally, this is the moss I found in Zarate. In the picture you will find also a lilaeopsis found in the same place and growing emersed over a piece of wood.
