Default Check out this BEAST....

This came out of my 60 gallon and is a monster. It has doubled in size since I got it back in August of last year. It was attached to a fist sized rock and also attached to anything that it was in contact with. I bet there are a bunch of shrimp in it too.

Wow! 2 foot by 2 foot square! Holy moly. What are you going to do with it?
Any pictures of it when it was in the tank?

I'm trying to sell it without breaking it apart. I may be asking too much but I can get at least $200.00 store credit at the LFS I work at. Plus my discount...this thing is worth a lot.
It came out of my tank called Pursuit of Longevity. In the Aquascaping showcase.

Holy Cow! That's a lot of healthy java. I saw it in your journal, and it's amazing looking underwater.

Norbert, what do the Bolbitis' leaves look like when it's grown underwater? Any noticable difference between the emersed and submersed growth?

I'm not sure that i understand coretly your question (sorry my english isn't good).
In my open top tank Bolbitis grow emersed like crazy. From my experience when space in water is full of bolbidis he start grow emersed....or I could say he grown ONLY emersed . From big ROOT in water start grown "stalk" and when he touch surface then start grown emersed leaves. I mean leaves don't grown submers and after time become emersed but at start he grown emersed above surface. Once a week I cut 3-6leaves - of course much smaller than on pictures. The bigest one grown in tank corner when light isn't so powerfull. In center light is strong and leaves are dry.

Norbert, you answered my question perfectly. I'll wait to May for the picture of the underwater shot.

Very nice photos.
