Unhappy my leaves are see through

is this a problem with too much light?

There could be a number of things effecting your plants. Too much light could definitely be one of them. Are you fertilizing your tank with anything? Without any additional information, my guess is that you are missing adequate fertilizers.

I second that, it could also be inadequate CO2.

Here are some questions that should be answered
  1. What is the tank size and the lighting over your tank(include the brand, kelvin rating if possible, how many watts)?
  2. Are you dosing any fertilizers?
  3. What plants are they that are transparent?
  4. How long have the tank been up with plants?
  5. Is there CO2 running?
  6. What type of substrate do you have?
Plants need NPK(Nitrogen, phosphorous, potassium) to grow healthy leaves and CO2 to keep photosynthesis operational. Lower light(1-2wpg) means you can have the least of these things thus plants are not so demanding. Higher lighting(3+ wpg) means you must supply these constantly.

Add more Iron and some potassium, it will helps glassy leave alot.
