Thank you everyone!
George, I had take a look at the topic, somewhere, where you shared the Professional photo-equipment of your studio… That’s really the high level standard! So, you wouldn’t need the configuration of my simple lightning set up and my technique: My Speedlite 430EX is always situated above the tank (slave mod)… the other one - Canon Speedlite 580EX (wires connected with the camera in “master” mod) I hold in my left hand and move in front(like straight “fill” flash), dependent on the fish specific and fishes position… ![]() The both are with diffuser! Ultimbow, now I’m going to do my own site of Photos…but it’s still have not enough time to finish it… Some of my best shots you may find here: Aquatic Photography Forum - Aquatic Photography Forum Gallery - AQUASAUR's Images

But I have a technical question, I use to use a similar flash configuaration as you told. I use to use a 430EX and 550EX, I use them with radio tiggers, I tried to use the master/slave mode but does not work for me, I think the master one are needing to be mounted on the camera shoe for master/slave mode. So what kind of cord are you using to connect camera with your 580EX? OC-3? Thanks in advace for your reply |

Thanks for sharing Hristo.
I use a similar equipment as yours but with the different I have not the ETTL off-shoe, mine is just TTL HSA-2 with a 3m long cord. ![]() ![]() I use to use my remote tiggers, but checking your equipment I decided to test the infra-red system. My problem is shooting with infra-red communication you will need set the master flash on ETTL mode, but my cord has not ETTL communication with, so I only can use the infra-red shooting system with the master flash on the camara shoe. In the other hand I would to know if you are using some kind of bracket for master flash. Thanks again for sharing. |
