Hope your light fixture solide my cat (22lbs) Did that and scrap mine broke the leg of it and fell in water Cat was lucky the braker went off right away.

Yeah i worry about that a little too, but shes really light, plus stubborn... I cant get her to stop drinking the water either

On my new lid i put tape sticky side up my cat hate it. Most cat hate sticky stuff on there paw. Now the tape is gone and the cat does not go on it anymore. Took about 3 week.
