First I rescaped this tank. Then I had a major algae battle (which I won btw
). The mac reds didn't like the rescape and they didn't like being deprived of ferts even more. But I went back to the basics and started dosing a little at a time, starting with micros (CSM+B) and then added P in small doses and just recently added a litle K. I haven't added any N yet and really don't want to unless the plants start to show signs of deficiency. Most plants in this tank don't like high N anyway. In this first pic you can see the dark stems that developed after the rescape. Once they grow tall enough, I plan to trim and only replant the good part. ![]() ![]() Even my R. wallichii is showing signs of improvement with nice pink tips ![]() |
