George is indeed a "World Class Aquascaper", he has inspired many people as well as myself. I am so glad he made a point that over filtration can be a key in battling algae or keeping it at bay right from the start. I have always said that the more light you have the more biological filtration is needed. Currently I am using 2 filters rated for 80 gal. aquariums on my 60 gal tank.
Great interview John and George!!! |

George and Steve are both very nice people if you get to meet them.
If you read what is said in the interview, he runs into the same issues and suggest what virtually every expert suggest: prevent algae=> grow plants. It's more work than what many seem to assume. He also is looking for species that require less work. These are attributes and comments that comes from experience. It's hard having a LFS. Regards, Tom Barr |
