I've had the same stuff growing in one of my tanks, back before I really cared about the chemistry of the water, and i noticed the best way of dealing with it was to buy a fish that liked eating it.

I have Cyabo in my tank but now using KNO3 and mking 50% water changes and cleaning a lot, the algae stop its growing.
