Default Riverbank.

Hi,

This is my 5 months old Scape.

It is a 50"x18"x24" tank with laterite and white sand as substrate.

4x54w T5HO lighting currently running for 10 hours per day as 8am-12pm and 4pm to 10pm periods.

Dectors include laterite rocks and seasoned teak wood.

flora: Mostly Anubias, Blyxa, and Ferns. also have few stems.

fauna: A solitary Krib,
3 threadfin rainbows
Tetras- 10 cardinal, 2 rummynose, 4 black neon, 1 lemon, 1 glowlight, 1 minnow
Bottom Dwellers: 8 bronze corys, 2 clown loaches and 2 yoyo loaches.
Cleaners: 3 otts and 1 pleco

Filters: One dolphin external filter and one internal power filter connected to co2 diffuser running at 2bps.

Fertilization: PMDD once in a week after water change and Microsol every day night after lights off.

Water change: 40-50% weekly.

I really like the central piece, especially the way the anubias roots hang, very unusual, yet so natural! Realy nice colours and healthy fish!! Probably needs something in the front corners, I guess if we give time your plants there will grow to beautiful bushes and reward you!

Hmm . . . I think this tank would be improved considerably just by yanking out the stems and grassy plants, and then even more attractive with some crypt/anubias groups worked into the mid-foreground as well.

Maybe put in some more rocks where the stemplants are.

Thanks for all the comments and suggestions.

I was trying to create a canopy like appearance using the stems. But not working out as expected.
