Jur4ik, Yes, with the plants we have the whole problem. Buy difficult for those species that are needed.

seems that UG is doing better in gravel than in soil .. the growth rate is fantastic!

seems to be the general concensus about it doing better in inert substrate. It melted away quite quickly in my AS while the growth on the HC and hairgrass has been rampant

mine was growing quite well until I trimmed it down a bit - result was melting. one spot survived and now recovered but the growth rate isnt that high as below..

Dear Robert,
based on my experience, ive grown UG on ADA Africana...
the thing is, it grew much more faster than HC Cuba..LOL
and the most confusing part is, i havent added any additional fertz, only DIY CO2...
so ive came up with a conclusion, as long as UG got a lot of CO2 and much nutrition for their roots, it'll be overgrown..
i might be wrong, but please CMIIW guys...

sorry for my bad grammar...

UG is one of very simple plants. The fact is that when using the enriched substrate, this plant really quickly dissolves. But the cause is the improper use of it substrate. The first few weeks after starting to practice daily to change the water in the aquarium up to 50% have not yet cleared of excess organics.

Very nice Arelav. I like how much your UG has grown in. It looks very healthy. Did you have to do any replanting or did it grow that way on its own? Mine seems to grow a lot messier than yours, that's why I'm asking.
