Realy nice, love it

Why do you say that 3x18watt is more than usual? Can you keep a carpet of glosso with less than that? How?

usually i use a 0.6W/L ratio in my tanks ( 2*18W in my 65L tanks) , no problems whatsoever so keep difficult plants , for the stem plants (rotalas) and the foreground plants as well (glosso , eleocharis parvula , lilaeopsis carpets went very well with this ratio).

thank you for your comments

Skyfish , i use a compact camera , it is not so good except for the definition , i hope i will be able to get a reflex soon .

Tirtha1979 , here is a picture of the hardscape at the set up ,it was quite heavy , i was counting on the plantation to soften it especially the moss to mage a transition between wood and stones and the light stem plant part to create a more aerian feeling.

and what should be the final picture of this tank

Wow, it's comforting to know that from what to me was an "iffy" hardscape came this gem. Well done.

Lovely scape, Nico!
It needs a lot of imagination to create this scape. Probably if I have seen the hardscape, before the final scape, I would not find it attractive at all! But now is looking amazing!

Regards

Lovely ambiance and layout - well done.
If you would permit me - what is the "ground cover you are using - is it Glossostigma elatinoides?

Looks fantastic Niko. I remember when you started this layout-- looks terrific my friend. By the way, I'm planning to go to Nature Aquarium Party this October-- maybe I'll see you there?

this is prabably the best looking tank i've seen - love the way the glosso grows - and the fact that it looks natural, very well done nico.
