Default Aquascape of the Month May 2008: "My Homeland"

ASW staff is proud to present May's Aquascape of the Month "My Homeland" by Lam Phuoc Thanh. This aquascape is said to capture the beauty found in his native country, Vietnam. The colors and connectivity of all the elements in this scape demonstrate Thanh's impressive amount of artistic and interpretive skill.

Find the complete article and details of this scape here: Aquascape of the Month May 2008: "My Homeland".

Please join me in congratulating Lam Phouc Thanh for successfully capturing the beautiful colors and landscapes of Vietnam, and for making ASW's May 2008 Aquascape of the Month.

Stunning.
Love the sunrise / sunset effect with the light behind the backdrop.
Excellent plant choice and health.
Congratulations.

Very nice tank, with a "spring" look...

Is the sun painted on the background ?

I love it, it really has a very natural feel to it. The balance is perfect and I love the foreground. I really like it when it's spares compared to the full, manicured foregrounds. Much more natural. Great use of moss as well.
