ASW is proud to present our second issue of AquaScaping World Magazine! This issue focuses on many Japanese Aquascaping Styles and sources of inspirations from this region.
This month we are also very privileged to have Aquascaping Judge Marco Aukes give us his take on the results of a Dutch Aquascaping Competition (VVV). In the full article, you'll find his commentary on the winners and what makes them stand out. There are also some great tutorials and articles on fertilization methods, mineralized soil substrates, and tips on growing crypts emersed. Please feel free to discuss any of the articles on the ASW forum, and please help others know there is a new issue out. Thank you again for all your support. I hope everyone finds a source of inspiration in this month's issue. -John N.

John is this an online mag?
I just tried to subscribe, thinking they were hard copies.. Can you tell me what those plants are above that Seiryu-seki stone? Is there a way I could see the entire tank pictured on the cover? Thanks!! |

Yes it will, although this tank is not high light but it's a shallow tank and the substrate is higher in the back which makes it even less shallow. The plants is closer to the light source so it will turn a reddish color.

Doug I hear what your saying, I like to have hard copies too.
I'm working on finding a viable, affordable solution on making this available as a printed publication. Kristoffer, I've added in the flash based version. So now you can view it via this web/flash method in addition to downloading the PDF, or reading through each article. Please enjoy. ![]() -John N.
