Tien13378 , the temperature of the tank was very variable , in winter it was 24.5c , which seems to be the perfect temperature , in summer as its getting quite hot it was up to 27c (sometimes 28c) , i couldnt keep it much lower even by using fans ... didn't seem to affect the plants much
for the HC in the foreground , it took it a couple of weeks to adapt to the tank , then it spread all over the foreground quite quickly , then i used to trim it every 3 weeks or so , for it not to be too thick
Oregonaqua ,as it was my first tank , i had a lot of help from forums . if you look at this tank and compare it to the other i did you can see that the style is quite different , it is because of the different influences i had at the time , the use of stones is from what i could see in Japan , the plantation was influenced from what i could see in france where the dutch style was still very present at the time
