I always use a sketch long time before i start scavenging for stuff. When i get an idea or know im going to make a tank, i take a piece of paper and get on with it.



Then i use the sketch when i make the tank. I hang it over the tank and when arranging hardscape and planting, I step back and compare to see if im on track.
