That's what I read in Hiscock's Encyclopedia of Aquarium Plants..

"Even in the best conditions this plant may have a limited lifespan in the aquarium. For optimum care, provide very bright lighting and a soft water environment"

And he rates it 3-4, 4 being the the most difficult plant to care for.

So I'd be interested in hearing what other people who have had it in their tanks think..
