There is so many beautiful designs out there are hard to name them all, but the ones that have made an impact will be the following:
Mr. Amano specially his work from 1998 to 2003 those are I think the ones that I go back just to study the planting technique.
I always enjoy Eric Leung aquariums since he started way back in the days when aquascaping was not exactly as popular as it is now. His layouts are simple but there is always a strong composition in all of them.
Mike Senske for his colorful designs he is not afraid to use many plants and this work out well even though his hard scapes are robust.
Jeff Senske for his good eye on big planted tanks, and his use of green plants only you see with aquascapers that have lots of experience green only tanks are the most difficult yet the most beautiful.
Oliver Knott for his thinking out of the box design he is really good at creating planted aquariums short and long term projects are no challenge for this guy.
Wayne Sham I have been looking at his work for a long time now and his details in foreground to mid ground are really good there is always something that gets my attention.
Cheers,
