I think it's the best symptom of an obsession - associating everything with the hobby.

I went to a zoo recently. Rather than admiring the animals etc. I was more interested in the huge pieces of driftwood and thinking of how to incorporate them into a large aquascape.

Same with photography too. Whenever I see something nice, I think that'll make a nice photo.
