Another question: I am now limited to hand tools also, since I moved away from the house where I had a woodshop. I love to use European hinges, that fit in large diameter drilled holes in the doors. But, I haven't figured out a good way to drill those holes with a hand drill. How are you doing it? I know there are fixtures I can buy that make it easier, but I hate to buy a $100 fixture just to install a pair of hinges.
