Very nice job! The "wodden nails" are called dowels here. I'm amazed that you did such an accurate job with just hand tools - drilling holes for dowels and having them match and be perfectly square with the wood is something I never try with hand tools. When I use dowels I drill through both parts at the same time, to be sure the holes line up well. You obviously have made numerous things with wood before.
What color will the laminate be? Is the inside white color from the "foil" you used, and does it have adhesive already on it when you get it? I haven't seen that material available here.
